IDEAL FWB Saddle (VSD Version Illustrated)

This saddle is a breakthrough for XXX wide horses! There has been nothing on the market like this before, until now!

It is the answer for wide cobs, natives and all horses and ponies with little or no wither and a very flat back.

The big problem for the XXX wide is movement. A saddle may appear to “fit” but the saddle moves from side to side. It is unstable for the rider and most likely uncomfortable for the horse because the root cause is that the saddle and its tree is not wide enough.

New to the Ideal range of wide fitting saddles, this is a saddle designed upon their own new hoop head tree. The FWB is extra wide in the head which means that the saddle fits over more breadth of the wither. Together with broad, thin flocked panels this saddle will give you stability…..at last, we hear you say! “This saddle does not move” says Ian, “guaranteed”!

Illustrated here is the VSD version with a straighter flap and panel. Also available are Dressage, GP and Showcut Working Hunter versions.

The saddle can have any flap/block configuration you would like under the Designed to Order service. For example, if you wanted the saddle purely for showing you could have Ramsay style flaps.

The FWB GP is available in sizes 16 1/2″ through to 18″, in standard width fittings and in colours Black, Sala, Military or Ranch.
