Saddles Worldwide is a UK business built on a lifelong, hands-on involvement with horses. Behind the service are decades of genuine experience of living with, riding and caring for horses, and of the difference a properly fitting saddle makes to both horse and rider.
We are not a faceless catalogue. You deal with people who love talking horses, who take the time to understand your situation, and who would rather give you honest advice than push a sale.
What we specialise in
We specialise in British-made IDEAL saddles and IDEAL’s Designed to Order service. IDEAL is a market leader in the design and manufacture of fine English saddles, a member of the Society of Master Saddlers, and based in Walsall, the traditional home of English saddlery. It is the one major UK manufacturer to specialise in made-to-order, which is exactly why it suits the riders we help: those who need a saddle built to fit rather than chosen off a shelf.
We believe the IDEAL range offers an exceptional combination of choice, quality and flexibility, and the Designed to Order service lets us tailor the specification closely to your horse and to you.
How we work
We developed a careful, evidence-led way of fitting saddles remotely, using templates, photographs, video and conversation. It means we can advise, fit and supply the right saddle wherever you live — handling the advice, the liaison, the supply, the delivery and the aftercare so you get the right saddle without the usual stress of doing it from a distance. The quoted price includes the saddle and the fitting.
Worldwide reach, personal service
Around half of the riders we look after are in the UK and around half are overseas. Over the years we have advised, fitted and supplied saddles for a remarkable variety of horses across the world — and we have enjoyed every introduction. Whatever the distance, the service stays personal: real conversations, honest advice and a saddle backed by a full money-back guarantee and after-sales support.
Honest advice, every time
If remote fitting is not right for your horse, we will tell you. If a simpler, less expensive saddle would serve you well, we will say so. Our advice and suggestions are free and without obligation, because the right outcome for you and your horse matters more than any single order.
