A full money-back guarantee
We offer a full money-back guarantee if you are not entirely happy with the fit and appearance of your saddle. This guarantee is in addition to the manufacturer’s own guarantee, and it does not affect your statutory rights.
The guarantee is valid for one month following delivery of your saddle. If you are not happy with the fit or appearance, the first step is always to put it right: we will endeavour to correct the fit and appearance, and we ask that you give us the opportunity to do so. If a satisfactory result cannot be achieved, the saddle will be collected and you will receive a full refund.
Please note: the precise terms, timescales and the company providing the contract and guarantee should be confirmed and reviewed before publication.
After-sales service
Our involvement does not end at delivery. We are genuinely pleased to help with any concern or question, and we are reachable by phone, email or message to give advice and suggestions. Once your saddle arrives, we follow up to check that you and your horse are getting on well with it.
If your saddle needs adjustment
Horses change shape with age, work, fitness and condition, and a saddle can often be adjusted in response — for example if your horse alters in shape, or if you wish to use the saddle on a different horse. The flocking can be adjusted, and where necessary the tree can be altered or changed. Charges may apply for re-flocking or tree work, and we will give you a clear quote before any work is carried out.
If you are within reach for a fitting visit, that may be possible; for everyone else, adjustments are handled by arranging collection and return.
Aftercare for overseas riders
Aftercare for international riders works a little differently from a local visit, but you are not left unsupported. We stay reachable by phone, email and video call, we can advise remotely on most questions, and where a saddle needs physical adjustment we will discuss the most practical way to arrange it for your location. We will always be honest about what can be done remotely and what may need hands-on help.
Caring for your saddle
To keep your saddle in good order, our preferred approach is to clean off mud and sweat with a damp cloth or sponge, then treat the leather as required with a creamy, lanolin-based (not oil-based) leather food. A good leather balm and soap will help keep it supple and looking its best.
Questions about the guarantee?
If you would like to talk through the guarantee or aftercare before ordering, please get in touch or start your saddle enquiry. We are happy to explain exactly how everything works for your situation.
